Good choice of menu. Good service. Warm and welcoming surroundings on a very cold November evening. Our table booking had not been registered but there was no problem in seating us. Food and drink good. Vouchers accepted without any issue. Would definitely visit next time I am in the area.Date used : 08/11/2013

We ate here after a Sheffield Hallam graduation ceremony , was just the right timing to book for 2.30pm after the 11am graduation. The food was lovely, the 2 waiting on staff were friendly, polite and very efficient (20/11/13) and the restaurant was a nice environment. I would recommend here. Think there were a couple of other graduation parties on other tables.Date used : 20/11/2013

- What a shame!!!By Wallbrook3115 November 2013aged 35 to 44Male
The number of people staying away from Prezzo because of the decision not to accept tesco rewards in payment for childrens meals was a blessing. Sadly they have backed down to Mummy and Daddy Pressure.Perhaps the original decision was made because adults trying to enjoy a meal in a pleasant atmosphere complained because of having to tolerate children who mummy and daddy thought were relaxed liberal children. Yes I mean noisey! i'm sure the loss of families would have been compensated by the increase in adults. We visit Prezzo at Thorpe Rd., Norwich, no I dont want to share a lovely meal with mummy and daddy's little darlings. Yes we will still patronise Prezzo, but much later. A great restaurant fabulous staff.Date used : 07/11/2013
- Great Food but left very disappointed!!!!By Bids12 November 2013aged 45 to 54Female
I took some friends to the Brentwood Branch of Prezzo. I had vouchers and so was paying for them all! I had a lunch special and they all followed. Nothing was said about using vouchers, there was nothing on the menu re not being able to use vouchers for specials!!! It wasn't explained anywhere so you can imagine my surprise when the bill came and I was left very red faced with a bill of £75.00!!!!! I love Prezzo and it's food but this was very disappointing. I had a lot of explaining to do when I got home!!!!! I would imagine a lot of people use these vouchers so it's a daily occurrence for the staff they should be more voucher friendly and if it's not explained on the menu then they should explain when you are perusing the menu!!!!
- Disappointed AberdeenBy DavidH07 November 2013aged 65 or overMale
I visited Prezzo restaurant in Aberdeen Union Square earlier this afternoon. We had an excellent meal from the 'Lunchtime Specials' menu. I was disappointed that the manageress refused to accept Tesco email tokens in part payment for the meal, saying the the 'Specials' menu is excluded from this offer. We have visited several Prezzo restaurants in the past and this is the first time we have been disappointed.Date used : 07/11/2013

Staff very accommodating for my son's 3rd birthday - singing and putting candles in his dessrt. The children's menu is now much better with one for under 5 and 5-12. Before the portion was huge; now it is much more suited to their appetite. Have always had a good meal here in Camberley and is my preferred choice of Italian. Even better now vouchers can be spent on the children's menu - good value for moneyDate used : 09/09/2013

Eight of went to Prezzos in Chelmsford on 28th September to celebrate my husband's birthday. While the food and service were as good as usual the noise was deafening with several large parties screaming and yelling at each other. We did complain but the manageress said there was nothing she could do about it. So, if you want a reasonable meal where you can actually hear each other speaking don't go there on a Saturday evening! It was so disappointing.Date used : 28/09/2013

- Prezzo, BroadstairsBy AndyR07 October 2013aged 45 to 54Male
Sorry for all the negative reveiews regarding the kids menu, but my kids are now able to eat from the main menu and the quality and choice suits us all. The Broadstairs staff are excellent and the restaurant has a quality feel and excellent location, particularly if you can get a table in their conservatory overlooking the sea. We've been there on a number of occasions and will be going there again for my son's birthday in December. Well done Prezzo Broadstairs!!
- would go again with vouchersBy suzEra28 September 2013
I've had vouchers a few times and the meal has always been a reasonable price and quality for the amount of actual money I have to lay out, but I'll be honest, when I'm paying All cash I go somewhere with better quality food/value for money. My last pizza was from pizza hut and it was much cheaper and better food - which is important when I'm handing over hard earned dosh!

- Excellent foodBy Realfood26 September 2013aged 45 to 54Female
We use our clubcard vouchers in our Prezzo in Chelmsford, (the one by the river). We have never had any problem at all paying with the tokens. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and always make you welcome. The only fault we have encountered is that on several occasions we have ordered our food, which has been beautifully cooked and then put onto the serving counter by the chefs but then it has been left sitting there for quite a while before the waitress/waiter comes along and serves it to your table. On the odd occasion the food has not been as hot as we would like due to it having been not served fast enough and left standing for far too long. It is frustrating when you can see your order on the serving counter just sitting there and nobody around to bring it to your table. Having said that it always tastes very good.Date used : 16/09/2013

We booked a birthday meal in Prezzo Cheam for 8 people. We cashed in enough vouchers to cover the food, having read the small print. We had a lovely meal, and the service was good - BUT.... When we gave our vouchers in as payment, we were told they can only accept £80 at any booking. This never used to be the case, and this information is NOT in the small print on Tesco Cubcard website. Be aware of this. We would have been better off using a Prezzo offer voucher.Date used : 17/09/2013

Went to Prezzo in Torquay as family of 5 back in July and were really disappointed, both with the quality of the food and also unaware that we had to pay for 2 kids meals!! We had requested enough vouchers to eat in this restaurant twice during our stay in Torquay but didn't go back after our first visit - we decided to give the Belfast restuarant a go before the valid date ends!! I go to the Prezzo in Bury St Edmunds and have never had any problems using the vouchers and makes a cheap meal so we can excel on the booze as a treat! Have also used them in London twice now and no problems at all. However I don't have small ones so it was okay for us. We had a fantastic meal at the Port Solent Prezzo, however we were very disappointed to discover you can no longer use the Tesco tokens on the children's menu. As always we had a lovely meal. The only complaint is at having the shock of having to now pay for children's meals. This change should be made abundantly clear. - As already stated BEWARE - No valid child mealsBy Hannieboo30 August 2013aged 35 to 44Female
We have regularly used Tesco vouchers for meals at Prezzo's for our family and ordered some a few months ago before the children's meals were excluded. We were away near Chichester and decided to book a meal there. When we rang up we said we were a family and were using Tesco vouchers. We were never told about the children's meals being excluded now. I feel if you already had the vouchers before the change they should be valid. I would of ordered my kids an adult dinner and split it. We are a family of six so it does make a difference. If I had been aware before that it had changed then fair enough. Two of the parties dinners didn't arrive with the rest of the meal either and two people had already finished when their meal arrived. I wasn't very impressed with the service or attitude, although I have to say when we have eaten at our local one at Romsey, Hampshire they have always been excellent. Unfortunately I will be less inclined to use them now as a family.Date used : 30/08/2013

Used our tokens at Prezzo in Stratford Upon Avon having been to Prezzo before and knowing we like the menu. Food great, staff attentive. However, I went to the disabled toilet, I think it's also the baby changing facility, what a grubby little room-yuch! Dirty and in need of a lick of paint, really not what I expected from Prezzo.Date used : 29/08/2013
- Are children's portions not classed as food?By 30 August 2013aged 25 to 34Female
I had some Prezzo vouchers left over from last time I had eaten there in the evening with friends - so decided to take my two children to the Romsey restaurant as an end-of-the-school-holidays treat. My first mistake was not coming back to read the reviews here before I went. It was only as I paid that I discovered that you can no longer use the vouchers on children's meals. A cheap treat suddenly turned into something significantly more expensive. My second problem was the absolutely appalling service we received. As I had a toddler in tow, we were put in the usual room at the very back of the restaurant where those with children are tucked out of the way. No problems there - I didn't want to disturb other diners' meals any more than they wanted me to. The problem lay in the fact that, after being sullenly seated by a miserable waitress who made it clear that she was not a fan of small children, we were then promptly forgotten. We waited 25 minutes before our food order was even taken - despite being the only people in the restaurant at the time. We then sat for a long time with plates stacked on the table for someone to remember we were there and bring dessert menus. As my youngest was growing impatient after almost an hour and a half in a highchair, I eventually went looking for them. After eating our dessert, we then sat waiting for another 20 minutes for someone to enter the room before I again sought out a member of staff to get the bill. Now, this could be almost forgiven in a busy restaurant - but I counted only five other occupied tables on my way out of the restaurant and three waitresses working. They were hardly run off their feet! All in all, it was not a pleasant way to spend two hours on a Friday lunchtime. We won't be going back.Date used : 31/08/2013

- will go to prezzos everytimeBy neenie27 August 2013aged 35 to 44Female
We live in Norwich and have used our vouchers for pizza express, belle pasta and several others over the last few years but we went to prezzo's for the first time the other day and now wont go anywhere else. The service was excellent and the food was the best we have tasted in a long while. I am a huge pizza fan and my partner not so much and this was first time we went to a restaurant that catered for us both with out having to ask for alterations to a set menu! the restaurant seemed very posh which was a real treat because, despite both working full time, could never afford to eat there without vouchers. We mentioned we had vouchers before being seated and we where still seated in lovely position in the restaurant rather than by the entrance door or next to the toilets etc which has happened both times in pizza express. I was able to dress up which I dont get the chance to do often and although many others where in casual dress I did'nt get the whole " out of place" feeling I have got in many other restaurants. The whole experience was lovely. I am now on here to exchange more vouchers for our anniversary meal in a few weeks! I know people are dissapointed about the kids menu not being included but as my daughter is 15 its not an issue for us as she eats from an adult menu. We also tend to only go on our own anyway as we use these vouchers to treat ourselves and to have much needed nights out on our own together. All in all I have found prezzo's to be a lovely restaurant and will continue to go back time after time from now on!!!!Date used : 24/08/1978
- Poor Service Poor FoodBy Catron27 August 2013aged 55 to 64Female
My husband and I went to the Amersham Prezzo. We arrived 6 minutes late but had to wait 20 minutes for a table. We then ordered our meal only to find out 25 minutes later that my husbands choice was not available. The waiter then stood by my husbands side with pad in hand waiting for his order. When the bill came they then had the audacity to charge for the original choice which was more expensive. Another couple also had words with the staff and we found out that they had waited 50 minutes for their starter. We have visited Prezzo 3 times and twice we have had problems with the food. Beaconsfield branch not much better but recommend Torquay.Date used : 22/08/2013

As we usually go to Pizza Express, we decided to give Prezzo in Southport a visit for a change. Everything was really good, lots of food and good service, except when we came to use our vouchers we were told we could not use them for the childrens menu. Despite out protestations they would not budge. They said it was in the terms and conditions. I last used Tesco vouchers in Prezzo Plymouth 2 years ago and had no problem so did not think to check the Terms and Conditions. - Good Food, Good ServiceBy Pandora21 August 2013aged 25 to 34Female
I've seen a lot of neg reviews so thought I ought to write something about my experiences. I've used the vouchers maybe 6 times now with various family members and we've always had a pleasent experience. We have no children so never encountered the children's menu issue but Prezzo isn't against children/families. Children's meals as a rule of thumb are usually cheaper anyway so I don't see the gripe. Shepperton Prezzo service can be a little stiff and slow so we changed to going to the Egham one, very little parking but well worth the journey. Service is lovely and the food is always cooked nicely and presented well. Most importantly it always tastes very good. My recommendation is if you have kids, go elsewhere for a nice adult meal out, choose Prezzo.Date used : 07/08/2013

Cramped tables and Very Noisy when busy, you cant hear the people on your table. My husband chose a VIP pizza and couldn't use our tesco vouchers against it? even though i had told them at the beginning we had vouchers and was told food not drink was accepted no mention of certain items not included. Even more annoying we had used the last lot of vouchers at the Broadstairs, Prezzo and my husband had the same thing and it was fine. Overall the food was nowhere near a nice as other Prezzo's we have visited, less pizza toppings, less in general really, maybe as they knew we were using vouchers?? Went to Prezzo with vouchers that were a couple of months old, only to find out that they were no longer accepted for children's set menus. Very disappointed at this stance and having spoken with the manager, she had clearly had a raft of complaints. I do not consider it fair that you take a voucher in good faith and during the period in which it is valid the terms and conditions are changed. I do not revisit the website to read the terms and conditions each and every time I want to use an in date voucher. I ended up having to foot half the bill myself and do not really consider that Prezzo will encourage families to eat at their restaurants. Not a very child friendly approach !!

- Prezzo / Tesco Vouchers Prezzo Tombland NorwichBy RobC10 August 2013aged 45 to 54Male
Like a previous reviewer we too were told today that Prezzo wouldn't accept vouchers against the cost of our child's and her friend's meals even though they have always done so in the past. We didn't just purchase their meals but ordered two adult meals, wine and drinks so expected to pay an additional amount for drinks and we understand that these aren't included with the vouchers and we have no problem with this. As I would suggest that most families redeeming these vouchers do so so that they can use them for children's treats etc. I wouldn't go to eat at Prezzo unless I was taking children with me. Maybe this is a sudden change of policy but if so I will exchange my Tesco rewards in future for restaurants of this type which enable me to use the vouchers to part-pay for my child's meal. Today the service was quite good but on the whole it is a bit hit and miss which seems the norm for Prezzo.Date used : 10/08/2013

...always exchanged clubcard vouchers for Prezzos, but now as unable to use vouchers for the kids meals will be dining at Pizza Express in future- really disappointed as I like Prezzos, but its not worth it anymore and I feel that they have alienated families...... thinking Pizza Express is going to be getting a lot busier! lol (have to add though, that the service at Aldershot was great!)

- Very disappointed with PrezzoBy gj2007 August 2013aged 45 to 54Male
We have been to Prezzo many times using Tesco vouchers and been very happy and always used the vouchers for kids meals. Last time we went when we came to pay we were told that we could no longer use the vouchers for the kids meals. What made it even worse was that they were the old style vouchers that we had only used a month before at another Prezzo which were accepted for kids meals. The staff were unhelpful and just said that the policy had changed. I think they will be much less busy in the future!Date used : 20/07/2013
- Superb!By Sh3bee07 August 2013aged 45 to 54Female
Can't praise Prezzo in Rayleigh, Essex highly enough. Staff were attentive and polite, and happy to wait for our order because we couldn't make up our minds. Food was very tasty. The Calabrese had a real kick to it! Will definitely be going back for more.Date used : 07/08/2013
- Beware - no longer covers children's mealsBy ahmurray07 August 2013aged 45 to 54Male
Having loved going to Prezzo for family treats for years we were shocked to find they no longer accept Clubcard vouchers for childrens' meals - at least not the set menu - you could I suppose share an adult pizza. Very disappointing as we enjoy their food best of all the chain restaurants - won't be going again now unless they review this policy.Date used : 07/08/2013
- Beware, no kids meals allowed with tokensBy Julioooli06 August 2013aged 45 to 54Female
We have frequently spent out tesco vouchers at Prezzos. Sadly when it came to payment i had to pay for the kids meals, due to a change of policy. Had i been aware of this i would have just ordered from the main menu for everybody. Looking to go else where for now, bye bye PrezzoDate used : 29/07/2013
- Do not take up this offerBy Veve06 August 2013aged 35 to 44Female
This offer is really not worth having, vouchers are not valid for children's meals, useless for a family meal, or any other deal. Staff only tell you when paying. Service extremely poor, not just in one restaurant, but at the 3 different restaurants I have visited within the last three months. I hasten to say I only revisited because I had ordered a large number of vouchers, and had hoped it would be better at a different restaurant. But always slow, incorrect meals, one order forgotten completely! and rude when querying any mistake. Cold food. Ignored completely at one branch. Customer service non-existent. If I could exchange the remaining vouchers I would.
- Cannot now use Tesco vouchers for Kids menu!By SavvyT05 August 2013aged 35 to 44Female
Have dined at Prezzo many times and always with the children. Was very disappointed today to find that the kids meals are no longer inlcluded! We spend a fortune at Tesco and often think, Ok it is more expensive, but the rewards enable us to dine out as a family more than we could without them, but will think twice about this in future!Date used : 05/08/2013
- Very HappyBy Rainbowultraburst05 August 2013aged 25 to 34Female
We have visited Prezzo twice now with our clubcard vouchers once in London Victoria and Manchester Printworks. On both occasions we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the standard of service we received was excellent with all staff being genuine, polite, efficient and courteous.Date used : 03/08/2013
- Vouchers Redeemed without AuthorisationBy Pixie2005 August 2013aged 35 to 44Female
I often eat at Prezzo and never had a problem before. However, now that vouchers are sent via email I found that the waiter took £20 as requested which was reflected on my bill. However, 20 mins later when I had left the restaurant took another £20 which was detailed on the original email. When I telephoned to complain and see if they would give me a Prezzo voucher, they really couldn't be bothered to help.Date used : 02/08/2013
- Won't be going back to PrezzoBy Sacha04 August 2013aged 45 to 54Female
Went to Prezzo for family meal last week and used our tesco vouchers only to find they were no longer accepted as payment for kids meals or some of their specials, looks like they want the benefit of having tesco customers but the advantage to the customer appears to have diminished! We don't intend going back out of principal and will continue to enjoy pizza express instead!Date used : 03/08/2013
- Disappointing for childrenBy disappointed12303 August 2013aged 35 to 44Female
We have always used Prezzo vouchers for family meals but have just been caught out by the change in policy and were not allowed to use our vouchers for the childrens meals. A real disappointment to us all - not sure we'll be using Prezzos again unless kids meals are included again.Date used : 20/07/2013
- What a shame re kids mealsBy Mumof403 August 2013aged 25 to 34Female
We have loved going to Prezzo restaurants all over the country and have never had a bad meal. We have always used Tesco vouchers. I am so disappointed to discover they no longer accept Tesco vouchers on the kids meals. We will no longer be able to go, 4 children would just make it too expensive. Really hope Prezzo will reconsider this decision. Previously we went to Prezzo every couple of months and would easily have given it 5 stars!!

I was just about to get some clubcard vouchers for Prezzo but randomly looked at the reviews first. Glad I did as seen they don't accept clubcard vouchers for kids meals anymore. I'll go back to Pizza Express again.
- DisappointedBy LuckyMummy30 July 2013aged 35 to 44Female
We have 5 children and use our local Prezzo in Thame about twice a month. We know the staff and always use Tesco vouchers towards the cost of the meal. I was very disappointed tonight to discover the vouchers can no longer be used against the cost of Kids Meals. What a shame for us and Prezzo as we won't be eating there as frequently now.Date used : 11/11/1971
- NEVER HAD A BAD MEALBy Bits30 July 2013aged 35 to 44Male
We've used Tesco vouchers in the Whitstable branch on many occasions and the food has always been very good. The service is also impressive and orders have always gone smoothly. The restaurant is nicely finished and a stones throw away from the beach too for a nice beer beforehand-sadly vouchers not accepted there yet!Date used : 12/07/2013
- Expensive if you take the kidsBy mpiman2430 July 2013aged 65 or overMale
Visited the Prezzo in Arundel and was very pleased with the service from the staff and the food was excellent, the downside is for some reason they have stopped accepting Tesco vouchers for the kids menu and as it is the only menu they have for children it can prove expensive for a family meal, pity as previously always accepted the vouchers.Date used : 30/07/2013
- Will not use againBy MBCR28 July 2013aged 35 to 44Male
As Prezzo have stopped allowing the Tesco vouchers to be used for children's meals, our family will not be going there again. We only use Prezzo once a month, so don't suppose it matters to them too much, but hopefully if others follow suit they will change their policy back.Date used : 28/07/2013
- Won't be returningBy Honest26 July 2013aged 25 to 34Female
After experiencing bad service a few weeks ago, we returned to see if things had improved because the food was good. Food was still good but service was terrible. Restaurant wasn't busy yet it took over 20 minutes to get a drink and then a further 15 minutes before they took the food order! Somebodies hot meal sat getting cold for 10 minutes whilst staff stood around. Hot puddings came cold and they've stopped accepting vouchers for children's meals and I had 4 with me so that was disappointing. Nice food but it's a shame the service let them down.Date used : 26/07/2013

- PrezzoBy Trolldoll07 July 2013aged 35 to 44Female
We have used our Tesco's clubcard Prezzo vouchers in Hull, York and London. The service has always been good. The food is always delicious and we have never encountered restrictions/poor service/anything negative at all when buying a meal with these vouchers. We would definitely recommend Prezzo to most people. The children's menu is fairly limited if you have a fussy little eater in your party, but apart from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about.Date used : 04/06/2013
- No longer accept tesco voucher for child's menuBy Leicester07 July 2013aged 35 to 44Female
Prezzo has changed it's policy and longer accepts tesco vouchers for children's meals. Also the maximum value of vouchers they now accept are £80.00. I will still go as the food is excellent and service with a smile always. The variety of pastas and desserts are superb. The salads are really fresh.Date used : 07/07/2013
- Astonishingly Terrible Service, will never go backBy 4isSweet03 July 2013aged 35 to 44Female
If I could give a negative number of stars I would. I cannot believe the poor service we received. Food was ok but the lack of service made it a really bad experience and I will never return to Prezzo. We booked a table for 5pm for 6. We only ordered adult main meals and childrens menus and we were there for two and a quarter hours. We wanted a swift pleasant meal at the end of the week. After looking at empty dishes for 20 minutes we stacked them up ourselves but it still took another 15 minutes for someone to collect them. Sorting the bill took another 20 minutes and only when I went up to the till. Just appauling. I would have totally understood if the staff had actually been busy (although I might not have been happy). But no, our server who I think was actually management, preferred to hang around the bar chatting and very slowly drying up cutlery. Never again!Date used : 28/06/2013

- Consistently goodBy Avocet3626 May 2013aged 65 or overMale
We have been using Prezzo vouchers from our Tesco Club Card points for a couple of years now and have been to Prezzo restaurants in different areas of the country, both locally where we live, and also while on holiday. The food has always been of an excellent and consistent quality - we have never had a bad meal. Service is generally good and fast, but as with all restaurants, the speed of service seems to depend on how busy they are at the time. We are happy to recommend them.
- BEST FOOD AND STAFFBy VALERIE23 May 2013aged 55 to 64Female
WE VISITED PREZZO MAYFAIR WITH MY SON AND A FRIEND AND COULDNT HAVE BEEN TREATED BETTER, THE STAFF WERE PLEASANT AND ATTENTIVE WITHOUT BEING OBTRUSIVE AND THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, I DONT THINK ANYTHING WAS LEFT ON THE PLATES! THE PREVIOUS NIGHT WE HAD BEEN TO MELAS INDIAN RESTAURANT IN SHAFTESBURY AVENUE AND NOT HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE SO WERE QUITE WARY ABOUT TELLING THEM WE WERE USING TESCO VOUCHERS BUT THIS MADE NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL AND WE WERE HAPPY TO LEAVE AN APPROPRIATE TIP! WE WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.Date used : 16/05/2013
- Fantastic value with clubcardBy mellowyellow23 May 2013aged 45 to 54Female
Good Italian food all freshly prepared - delicious. Be warned you can't spend your tokens on drinks so only change the amount you're likely to spend on food. Service is very fast so you are likely to be in and out quickly unless you're having lots of courses. But it is a very good value deal @ 4 times your vouchers. Highly recommended.Date used : 03/04/2013

- A great meal made greaterBy Jambuster17 May 2013aged 35 to 44Male
We decided to break with tradition and exchange our Clubcard vouchers for Prezzo tokens instead of Pizza Express. The restaurant at Freeport Braintree is right by a Cineworld and so we combined a meal out with a film. Using our tokens meant we spent £40 less on our day out and the whole family had a great meal. The Prezzo menu is excellent and the service in the restaurant was perfect. Thank you to Prezzo for a lovely meal and thank you Tesco for saving us £40!Date used : 01/04/2013

I've exchanged my clubcard vouchers several times now for Prezzo vouchers and am never disappointed. Whether i just fancy a saturday night out in my local town or going away for the weekend in the UK, i can use the vouchers anywhere and anytime. AND you feel like you can have a bottle of wine AND a pudding as its all free with your vouchers! I've now convinced my family and friends this is the best way to use your clubcard vouchers.
