At the start of your journey round the grounds is an old army barrack hut from the Second World War. The path then leads you onto a set of Daisy Steps; a Victorian Shrubbery; and the Octagon Summerhouse from the 1700s.
Elsewhere you'll find the Chinese Seat from which you can observe the tranquil Pear Pond, then enter the rough woodland of the Valley of Cascades where the Great Cascade forms the centrepiece of the Landscape Garden.
Hestercombe Gardens possess an air of magic and mystery which is sure to keep all enthralled as you make your way around the 50 acre space. Experience some south west tranquillity for less today.

Beautiful formal gardens, lovely walk in grounds, great lakes and waterfall. Purchased an annual family ticket with my vouchers so can go at different times of the year. Well worth seeing in all of the different seasons. Kids love it, never getting bored on the walks due to the different buildings. Love feeding the swan and ducks and the acoustics in the orangery. Dog friendly place. Something for everyone.
