The Foxfield Railway formed in 1967 is one of the earliest heritage lines. The station at Caverswall Road, Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire is only 1 mile along the A50 from the TESCO, Meir, store.
What you get
The Foxfield Railway formed in 1967 is one of the earliest heritage lines. The station at Caverswall Road, Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire is only 1 mile along the A50 from the TESCO, Meir, store.
The line runs through the Staffordshire Moorlands and woodlands before plunging down the Foxfield Bank, the steepest gradient on a standard gauge public heritage railway in the UK, to the village of Dilhorne. Here it originally served the Foxfield colliery whose buildings are being restored as a mining museum.
The station at Caverswall Road is fully accessible with good car and coach parking, a buffet serving hot and cold meals and a Real Ale bar. The majority of the collection of 30 locomotives and vintage rolling stock is also on display there. Trains operate every Sunday during the summer and on many Saturdays. • Tokens cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, scheme or promotion.
• Your token(s) should arrive within 5 working days.
• Orders should be made at least 28 days before you intend to book with a supplier or visit a partner.
• Tokens are valid for 6 months from issue.
•You must exchange your Clubcard vouchers for tokens, Clubcard vouchers will not be accepted by the supplier.
•Tokens are not transferable and will be issued with the name shown on your Clubcard vouchers and may be printed with your postcode.
• All standard Tesco.com and Clubcard scheme terms and conditions apply, these can be found on the website.
• Unused, expired and redeemed tokens issued after 13th August 2012 cannot be refunded, exchanged or returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.
• Tokens cannot be used for Driver Experience, Santa Specials and Steam Gala events.
