Cheddar Gorge in Somerset is easily one of the most striking natural formations in the country. Chunky limestone cliffs jut 450ft into the air while the road snakes around them. It's an adventurer's heaven, not to mention the cavernous underground labyrinth beneath.
With the token you receive for Clubcard vouchers, you can climb deep underground to Gough's Cave and Cox's Cave, each dripping with mesmerising calcite and stalactite formations. Water from the magical underground pools shimmers in the half-light, while enchanting music plays overhead to enhance the mood.
Meanwhile, above ground, you could be touring the gorge itself via open-top bus, or a walking tour for maximum viewing potential, especially if you take in the panoramic views from the top of the watch tower.
