What you get
Inveraray Jail is an award-winning living 19th century jail and courthouse. It was the original jail for the Argyll area, and has now been developed into one of the most popular visitor attractions in the west of Scotland.
The Jail contains the imposing Courthouse, where you can listen to the actual trials from its own records; the original prison dating back to 1820 where men and women were held in overcrowded, damp conditions, the new prison, built in 1848, and the airing yards. There is also an interesting exhibition on "Torture, Death and Damnation" over the previous four hundred years, and finally a visitor shop selling a wide variety of souvenirs.
Visitors have the opportunity to meet a "prisoner", "warder" and "matron", all dressed in authentic costume, who will be happy to answer any questions as well as giving a lively insight into life in the prison.

• Tokens may be used against standard admission, but cannot be used for special events and/or shows, group bookings, season tickets or annual memberships.
• A tokens is not a pre-booked ticket.
• Tokens cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, scheme or promotion.
• Your token(s) should arrive within 5 working days.
• Orders should be made at least 28 days before you intend to book with a supplier or visit a partner.
• Tokens are valid for 6 months from issue.
•You must exchange your Clubcard vouchers for tokens, Clubcard vouchers will not be accepted by the supplier.
•Tokens are not transferable and will be issued with the name shown on your Clubcard vouchers and may be printed with your postcode.
• All standard Tesco.com and Clubcard scheme terms and conditions apply, these can be found on the website.
• Unused, expired and redeemed tokens issued after 13th August 2012 cannot be refunded, exchanged or returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.
