The park is divided into sections from arid deserts to the thriving Amazon Rainforest, and you can see loads of their inhabitants running, flying and jumping around during your visit here. From the Egyptian fruit bat to toucans, flamingos, several species of tamarin and monkey, to the infamous red-bellied piranha, tarantulas, snails and scorpions.
The variety at the park is rife and is the perfect opportunity to see some remarkable animals from all around the world without having to leave the shores of the beautiful Isle of Wight.
How it works

Having visited several times it has been lovely to see the developements and expansions that have occured at Amazon World. My grandchildren love it and enjoy being so close to the animals. The Lemur walk is a lovely addition as although you cant touch them just being in the enclosure with these lovely creatures makes you feel closer to them. The keepers are experienced and knowledegable about the animals in their care and will answer questions with a passion not sometimes found elsewhere. All in all a lovely few hours spent and a great playpark for the kiddies to run riot in while the parents have a coffee at the cafe of all enjoy an ice-cream.
