This perfect picnic salad is full of nutritious ingredients, including broccoli, sweetcorn and chicken.

Method

1 Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Meanwhile, steam the broccoli for about 3 minutes until just tender. Transfer the pasta into a large bowl and add the chicken and cherry tomatoes.
2 Whisk together all the ingredients for the salad dressing, and toss the salad with the dressing.

Ingredients

100g fusilli pasta
100g broccoli florets
100g shredded cooked chicken
125g tinned sweetcorn
8 cherry tomatoes, cut in half
2 spring onions, finely chopped

Dressing:
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp runny honey*
1 tbsp reduced salt soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
A little freshly ground black pepper

* Do not give honey to babies under one.
