Method

  • Cut a thin slice off the base of the grapefruit so that it sits flat, then using a sharp knife, make two slits for eyes and insert a pair of liquorice ‘eyelashes’.
  • To form the hedgehog’s nose, attach the olive to the grapefruit using half a cocktail stick.
  • Cook the sausages, spear with cocktail sticks and stick into the grapefruit to form the hedgehog’s spikes.
