Red lentil with cumin purée
A yummy, creamy dip for your weaning baby.

Take the red lentils (washed, with small stones removed) and add 200ml filtered water. Bring to the boil and simmer. Add a small amount of cumin or another herb. When cooked through, test for tenderness and blend to the desired consistency, adding filtered water or breast or formula milk as necessary.
