Apple and pear fool
A healthy and tasty weaning food recipe for your baby. Suitable from: 6-9 months (excluding sweet biscuits to serve); and 12 months+ including sweetened biscuits.

- Cut the apples and pears in half, remove the cores, peel and cut into chunks. Put the fruit into a saucepan with a little water and simmer gently for 5-8 mins or until just soft. Put some aside into a bowl for your baby.
- Put the remaining pear and apple mixture in another bowl, add a squeeze of lemon juice to stop it discolouring and add sugar to taste. Leave to cool.
- Gently fold the yogurt into the custard and then fold this into the fruit purée to create a slightly swirled effect. Chill really well, then serve with sweet biscuits.
