Leisure and pleasure at Blackpool Beach

Perhaps one of Britain’s most famous seaside destinations, Blackpool Pleasure Beach still draws in thousands of families year after year. In good weather, you can see why. As you would expect, you’ll find the more ‘traditional’ seaside attractions here, including a ghost train and dodgems. However, throughout the summer, there are tons of favourite children’s characters appearing at the Pleasure Beach.

If your tot is into Bob The Builder, Postman Pat, Scooby Doo, or Fifi and the Flowertots, they’ll have the time of their lives meeting them. You’ll also find The Beaver Creek Children’s Theme Park here, where little ones can let off steam on a variety of rides and indoor and outdoor attractions. Pirate rides, the Alice ride, turning tea cups, a puzzle maze and carousel are just some of the attractions awaiting your children.

There are numerous food outlets on the Pleasure Beach offering hot and cold snacks as well as full meals for adults and children. Within most of these, you can find high chairs and baby changing facilities. If you haven’t yet been to the famous Blackpool destination or even if it’s been a family favourite for generations, this summer could be the perfect time to get down there.
