This is a stunning wine with gorgeous aromas of guava and an almost nettle-like character.
Full and fresh, with lively lemon and grapefruit
flavours that build on the palate.
Elegantly restrained.
The fresh, crisp, aromatic style really suits Thai food, especially spicy crab cakes or mild curries.
Also works brilliantly with quiches or tomato salads.

A relative newcomer, this quietly brilliant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is fantastic value for money. It is utterly delicious, with ripe, tropical fruits including guava, melon and passion fruit. Sourced from the South Island’s Wairau and Awatere Valleys, this wine is wonderfully bright and generous on the palate, with great length of flavour. For best results, serve with dressing-drenched salads or Asian foods.

Made by the Waipara Hills winery, a relative newcomer to the wine scene, who made their first vintage in 2001. Now with over 1000 acres of vineyards, they are one of the leading producers based in the Waipara region.

This is a top-class, awardwinning Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region in New Zealand’s South Island. The grapes are grown in vineyards in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys, sub-regions of Marlborough. The 2011 vintage was both big and beautiful. A cool spring gave the grapes plenty of time on the vine to ripen. Crucially, a stable autumn season followed, so the grapes were in great shape and picked at just the right time.
