Background
History
This wine come from Empresas Lourdes who is one of the top 3 biggest Bulk wine exporters in Chile. Flying kites or ‘las cometas’ have captured the imagination of the people of Chile since they were introduced in the 16th entury. Each year, when Chile celebrates its independence, hundreds of brightly coloured kites soar above the festivities, keeping the tradition alive.

I am no wine snob and tend to go for offers - this was on offer and as good as many of the aussie equivalents - no prob with repeat purchase

This review is for the 2011 vintage
Good rich colour and aromatic nose. All the traditional spicy flavours are in here. Fairly long in the mouth - a nice wine and priced well.

The headline price before discount suggested a quality wine but it isn't - at least according to my tastes. A bland almost tasteless wine which probably had the guts taken out of it during a multitude of processes. I would not purchase this wine again.

Great wine for the price. Smooth and refined a really well made Shiraz. I liked it so much I immediately bought two more cases.
