Oh dear. Even the low price does not excuse this. On no account even cook with it. Enough said.

For a j.p.chenet this was an awful experience and a shame to the brand. We actually liked and drank a lot of different chenets but this wine spoils their reputation

The red (and the white) usually present as a typical French vin du table It can vary in taste from time to time but much deends upon the temperature at which it is served and whether the bottle has been open for too long. It always represents good value for money. Buy s box and keep it handy - in case you feel thirst..

We have tried various wines over the years and despite this not being one of the more expensive wines still think it's the nicest and easiest to drink. It's fruity, it goes with most foods and goes down VERY smoothly!!

Terrific everyday easy on the palate table wine; great body, great taste, great value. Our first purchase from Tesco Wine and certainly won't be our last.

An excellent lower-priced wine. Good on its own or with a meal. Recommended.

Soft and fruity with a bit of bite. I am no expert on wines but after a number of years trying all reasonably priced wines I found J P Chenet Rouge which suited both my pallete and my pocket. At 12.5% vol I can relax and enjoy it most evenings. I have bought nothing else since.

This is a delightful wine and you can easily drink a whole bottle it's so yummy. The shape of the bottle, whilst unusal, is a bit difficult to store in a wine rack though.

Once you open the bottle, you will not want to leave any for the next meal! A superb flavour which complements any meal. Lucky it has a cork which makes it more difficult to open, so you only have one bottle with a meal!

Yes, we just love it ... In a strange way even the shape of the bottle adds to it's soft, juicy flavours ... My brother-in-law from Sydney Australia always looks forward to J P Chenet Rouge when he comes over to the UK.
